Wow, I stumbled on this Blog site, and noticed that there is nothing from Hansen Two...that might be because I am a slacker.

Now, it is July, 2012 and it is hot...and yet there is so much to do.  Dennis has a wonderful garden and picked enough green beans for us to have some for dinner, and for me to put up 18 pints this morning.  We are also enjoying baby carrots, red and purple potatoes, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, raspberries and blackberries, and a few apricots that the birds didn't get.
We also got a few cherries, and hope our new grape arbor will help us to have some grape juice for the first time in 3 years.  Our apples trees are really loaded as the Primary song says...till their branches touch the clover.  We are going to have a bounty, and Nikki wants to buy a cider press.  Sounds fun. 

We enjoyed a wonderful 70th birthday celebration for Dennis in Las Vegas, and were so happy to have our kids come join us.  We visited, played games, and had a pinball tournament and had contests at Circus Circus....a favorite of Big D.  We had a delicious buffet at the Wynn and then went to Phantom of the Opera where we sat on the 2nd row and could see the actors faces.  It was fabulous and a memory we will have forever.
We sure enjoyed our kids and got to reconnect with their busy lives.

This could be fun and I will check on it again.
